Burger Queen?

It was dad's birthday today and mum always makes him a poppyseed cake--yeah, the kids aren't so into that. So I said I'd come up with something for them.

This is what I decided:




Burgers? Cupcakes? You tell me. Actually, my sister-in-law thought they were plastic and Gianna, Julia & Christian thought they looked like Crabby Patties.

Father's Day

Mum told me last night that I forgot to post a picture of the Father's Day cake I made for my Dad, brother and brother-in-law.

It was chocolate cake and chocolate fudge icing and SOoooo good.

This was for my nephew Logan's 10th birthday today. He was extremely cute when he saw it--he grinned so big and just said, "Thanks, Aunt Carly!" Yay!

The House on Fire Cake

More than anything, my nephew Christian (6), wants to be a fireman. So, for his birthday last year, my sister made him a firetruck cake. This year he wanted another one. But he had a stipulation-he also wanted a house on fire that the firetruck was responding to...made out of cake...naturally.

There was no way I wasn't going to do it.
